About cookies

On www.hemblagroup.se cookies are used. Cookies are small text files with information stored on your computer (or other device you use to access the website) when you visit a website. A cookie will typically contain the name of the site that the cookie came from, how long the cookie will be stored and a number (usually a randomly generated unique number).

Cookies are used to make websites work more effectively but also to provide certain information to the owner of a website. Cookies make it possible to distinguish different users from each other, which can give each user a more personalized and positive experience of the website. We use two types of cookies; permanent cookies and session cookies.

Permanent cookies

A persistent cookie remains on your computer for a specified period of time. It is used for functions that tell you what is new since you last visited the site. It is also used to get statistics for how visitors use the site, such as which articles are read most and how users move in navigation.

When the expiration date cookie is deleted when the user returns to the site.

Session cookie

A session cookie is stored temporarily in the computer’s memory while the visitor is on a site and disappears when the user closes their browser. Session cookies can be used, for example to keep track of what language the user has selected.

If you do not accept cookies

If you do not accept the use of cookies, you can turn off cookies in your browser’s security settings. You can also set your browser so that you will be asked every time a website tries to place a cookie on your computer. The browser can also delete previously stored cookies, see your browser’s help pages for more information.

Analysis tools for web statistic

Hembla AB uses Google Analytics as a tool to get a picture of how visitors use the site. The analysis tool uses cookies and the information generated by these through your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. This information is used to evaluate visitor statistics, for example, to improve the content, navigation and structure. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required by law or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate IP addresses with other data held by Google.

If you do not want your visit to Hembla AB to appear in the statistics in Google Analytics there is a supplement that you can install in your browser. The supplement gets you on the Google website. You can also refuse the use of cookies (see above) by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser.
